Are the font sizes correct and appropriate?
The font sizes are correct because the masthead is large and stands out to the audience. Also the cover lines are a reasonable size, they are clear and easy to understand for the viewer.
Does it follow the three colour rule?
My college magazine does follow the three colour rule because, I have used black, white and yellow. I chose these colours because I think black and white work well together and look nice, and I have then used the yellow because I thought that the magazine needed a bit of colour to stop it because so plain.
Can you tell the contents and the cover are from the same magazine?
You can tell that the contents page and the magazine cover are from the same magazine because the colours used on both of these are the same, black, white and yellow. Also the text on the contents page is the same font as the text saying 'college' on the cover page, Also if the contents page was fully complete the three images of the student at the bottom, would be the same student that is on the front cover.
Are the photographs well taken and appropriate?
I believe that the photographs were taken well because the student was stood behind a plain background which was a white wall to go with my three colours and also the lighting in the room was good. The photographs taken were appropriate because the student used suits the audience type.
Are there enough stories on the cover and contents page and are they appropriate?
I believe that that there are enough stories on the contents and cover page. I think this because i didn't want to over fill the cover page with story lines because it would look to cramped and would not be clear to read. Therefore i just used a suitable amount to make it look appropriate and sufficient. I believe that the stories are appropriate because they are giving the students that would be buying the magazine enough information about college life. And also giving them a chance to win prizes and hear a bit of gossip about college.
